Making an Appointment

You have a right to request an appointment with a Practitioner of your choice
Please telephone us on 01604 250969 to book an appointment. All attendances at the Surgery are by appointment except when URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION IS REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY.

Appointments in Advance

We have a limited number of appointments which may be booked up to 1 month in advance. Please call after 10.00am to book future appointments.

Routine Appointments

Routine appointments are available for booking up to 48 hours in advance please call reception on 01604 250969 after 10.00am.

Telephone Appointment

Due to high service demand we request that if you need an urgent appointment you call reception at 08.00am on the day. Please telephone us on 01604 250969 and a Doctor or Nurse will return your call. The receptionist will ask you to give some details regarding your enquiry so that this may be passed on to the relevant clinical person. Once the doctor or nurse has assessed your condition over the telephone they may request that you come in for an appointment.

Home Visits

If your condition prevents you from attending the surgery you can be visited at the doctor’s discretion. Please telephone your request before 10:00am if possible and give the receptionist as much information as you can to help the doctor assess the urgency of your call. You will be telephoned by the doctor to discuss your request and it is entirely up to the doctor to decide if a home visit is needed and this is based on medical need. The doctor can see on average six patients in the surgery in the time taken for a home visit so if it is possible to attend the surgery we will ask you to do so.
